2005 Golden Plate Award

The Golden Plate is an Award, provided by Monash Council, to encourage and recognise those retail food premises throughout Monash, which are leading the trend towards better and safer standards of nutrition, hygiene and supportive environments. The award is open to all food outlets that provide main meals, lunches and snacks and/or takeaways within the City of Monash.
The Golden Plate is about making a healthy choice the easy choice. Applicants have to meet three criteria to be eligible for the award:

~ Healthy Food Options need to be available

~ Excellent Hygiene and Food Handling practices must be evident

~ And a choice of one of the following; Sun Protection, Smoke Free Environment, Alcohol Awareness and Environmental Friendliness.

2004 Monash Business Awards finalist

These awards aim to promote business success and excellence through the recognition of significant achievements and innovations. It was initially established in 1994, by a group of 10 senior executives, in order to celebrate a quality of small businesses. Every year, the MBA gathers together representatives from over 150 businesses and schools in the City of Monash as they are committed to contributing to the development of the local community.
